A bit about me
These days everyone grows up with cameras around them, and my youth was no different. But it wasn't until after leaving high school that I took an interest in photography beyond the family holiday snapshot.
Largely self taught and always learning, my interest in photography began during a backpacking holiday through Cambodia in 2004. When I returned home from that trip the bug had bit.
Photographers who inspire me include Henri Cartier-Bresson, Helen Levitt, Elliot Erwitt, Ansel Adams, Michael Kenna, David Alan Harvey, Steve McCurry, Robert Frank, Peter Dombrovskis and Trent Parke, to name but a few.
